Autumn Page

I had fun creating this Autumn page. I used Autumn Fest because it has nice bold images. I inked up the leaves with versamark and then used my sponge daubers and more mustard, really rust, and close to cocoa chalk to create the multi-colored leaves. I added some copper brads and some thick chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon to finish this 6x6 scrapbook page.

Punch Mania

Can you tell how many punches were used on this card by my upline, Dannie? She got the idea for this card from Paula Goff. We all share a passion for punches! This card demonstrates how fun using multiple punches for layering are with this great card using In the Spotlight and the Cutie Pie Designer Series Paper

Friends Scrapbook Page

This is such a cute scrapbook page from convention! The grass was made by cutting the top like a fringe and adding some wild wasabi double-stitched ribbon. The flowers are from the Build a Flower Accents & Elements.

Note Card Holder

I love making this note card holders as gifts for my friends! I made this one for my friend Nancy's birthday. I got the template from a class I took taught by Julie HRR(Her Royal Rubberness). I used the leaf prints and watercolor joy wheels to created the background super quick!

Here is the inside with the cards and envelopes! I love making matching envelopes!

In the Spotlight

In the Spotlight is my favorite hostess set! It is so versitile! I made this card with old olive, rose red, and cameo coral. Fun, quick and so cute!

Fall colors

It's starting to feel like fall outside! Here is a card I made a while ago that I just rediscovered. I used the Looks Like Spring set with fall colors ruby red, chocolate chip, and so saffron. I used the coordinating Spring bouquet punch to punch out the little flowers and added a brads to the middles.

Boho West Pocket Card

Here is another sample from convention using the Wanted set with the coordinating Outlaw paper. The crop-a-dile was used to create the dry embossed circles across the pull out part of the card. The pewter jumbo eyelet makes a great embellishment and I love the new thick grosgrain ribbons. The chocolate chip color is so yummy!

Tin Purse

This is a project from convention. It is an Accents & Elements tin! Use the crop-a-dile to punch holes for the ribbon, embellish and you have a great little tin purse! I think it is just too cute!

Cutie Pie Long Note

I'm lovin' the new Cutie Pie Designer Series Paper! It is so fun to use! If you love it too, stay tuned, because I have a lot of upcoming projects that use it! This is a cute card I made with the paper and some purely pomegranate double-stitched ribbon. I added a flower from Build a Flower Accents & Elements and a punched out flower. I used the Pick a Petal classy brass template to dry emboss the little flowers along the bottom.

Thank you card

I made some quick thank you cards to give to the teachers that received 100% of their membership forms for the Home & School Club Membership Drive! I saw this card in the Stampin' Techniques booklet and thought it would be perfect! I used bashful blue, mellow moss and chocolate chip (one of my favorite color combinations) with Seeing Spots and its coordinating classy brass template.

I made a faux metal edge tag by simply punching the brushed silver card stock with the 1 1/4" circle punch and then centering the hole in the 1 3/8" circle punch and punching out the rim. I adhered my silver rim to the card stock where I stamped my flower and sentiment and again used the 1 3/8" circle punch to punch out the tag! I finished the card with some mellow moss taffeta ribbon and punched half a circle in the flap of the envelope to stamp my little flower and thank you message!

Drink holder turned Ribbon holder

This was a drink holder that fast food restaurants give you to hold your drinks that I decided to turn into a ribbon holder basket. This is another project my upline gave us to create something with. I cut off the top and covered it with Brocade Background paper and some river rock double stitched ribbon. I fastened a strip of the paper with the petwer jumbo eyelets on the sides to create a handle and viola! a ribbon holder!

Dimensional Flowers

I created this card using Garden Silhouettes and the Three for You Punch Box. Using the punched out flowers really gives this card dimension! I used the hand held 1/8" circle punch to create the middles for the flowers and finished the card off with some soft sponging around the edges.

Post it note holders

I made this as a "thank you" for a friend with the Petals & Paisleys DSP and Polka Dots & Paisleys stamp set. I love making the little fridge post it note holders. Here is a quick tutorial on how to make these cute little things!

1. 8 ½ x 11 color cardstock
2. 7 ½ x 10 ½ stamped cardstock
3. golf pencils (office supply store)
4. ribbon
5. hole punch
6. corner rounder, ticket, or tag corner punch
7. paper trimmer
8. magnets
9. post it notes (2x3 or 3x3 size)

  • Cut 8 ½ x 11 colored cardstock into 6 - 5 ½ x 2 ¾ and save excess strips of cardstock to use to make pencil holder

  • Stamp 7 ½ x 10 ½ cardstock and cut into 6 - 5 ¼ x 2 ½ strips

  • Create top edges with corner rounder, ticket punch, or tag corner punch

  • Cut excess paper into 6 strips

  • Create two notches to slip a small strip of excess cardstock into to use as pencil holder at ½ inch from top and ¾ inch from top cutting on trimmer from 1 1/8 – 1 3/8
  • Slip strip of paper into notches using the pencil and tape excess on back side
  • Adhere to colored 5 ½ x 2 ¾ cardstock
  • Punch hole at top for ribbon
  • Adhere magnet on back
  • Adhere post it note (1/2 of stack)

I got a box of the golf pencils from Office Max to use for these projects. The magnets I purchased from Walmart in the craft section. Have fun!

Swap Card

This is a card I made for Jami's Holiday Mini Catalog swap. I must say that I was very intimidated by the swappers in the group that I signed up for! They make some great stuff! So I found these colors (wild wasabi & soft sky) and layout from a beautiful card by Lauraly on SplitCoast Stampers and tweaked it with the Tags on Board set. It was a neat coincidence that the star stamp from this set matches the Designer Paper perfectly!

Cutie Pie & Microbeads

My upline has been giving us little items to take home and create something with. Last month she gave us these little halloween tins. I covered one with the Cutie Pie DSP and then wrapped sticky strip around it and covered it with mircobeads. I love the texture of the microbeads!

Photo Wallet

This is a photo wallet that I created using Petals & Paisleys Designer Series paper, Polka Dots & Paisleys, and the jumbo Petals wheel.

I placed little envelopes inside the wallet to slide my pictures into. I made one for my mother-in-law so she could show off her grandsons! These are so fun to make!

Petal Box

This is a petal box that I made using the 5 in 1 Envelop template. I used the watercolor wonder crayons on the flower stamp from Close As a Memory and then spritzed the stamp with water to create a watercolored look. I used the Watercolor Vine jumbo wheel on the top of the box and the side petals as well.

Here are the directions:
1. Draw a 4 inch by 4 inch square.
2. Take the 5-in-1 template and draw the rounded flap on each side of the 4 inch square.
3. Then you're going to draw 4 more rounded flaps and cut those out-- cut them out of a separate color so you could see them a little better. Fold them in half and they become the corners of the lid.
4. For the bottom of the box you take an 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 piece of cs. Score it at 2 1/4 on all four sides. Then assemble it into a box.
