Petal Cone Bats

Yet another use for the versatile Petal Cone die: Halloween bats! Simply cut an extra piece from the die, cut it in half and run it through the Big Shot with the spider web embossing folder! I used a circle punch along the bottom of the wings, added some glitter brads for eyes and the tip of the petite pennant punch for fangs and some ribbon for a handle and this is all ready to be filled with treats and given to that special trick or treater!

Give Thanks Card

I love using the top note die and an embossing folder to created beautiful quilted looking cards! I cut 1/2" strips from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and pasted them on a scrap piece of card stock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. Then I used the Square Lattice embossing folder to create the quilted look of the card. I used the Gently Falling and Hand Penned Holidays stamp sets to stamp the leaves and sentiment on the card.

Simple One layer cards

Here are some more simple one layer cards that I made. For the first one I used the Confetti White paper and Gently Falling and hand-Penned Holidays stamp sets.

These two are designs that my friend Kelly came up with using the Confetti White card stock and the Faith in Nature stamp set.

Triple Treat Flower Card

The Triple Treat Flower is a fun stamp that coordinates with three punches! I used the Fancy Flower, 5-petal flower, and circle punch with just this one stamp! I added some Spice Cake Designer Series paper and some Early Expresso stain ribbon.

Here is another variation that I tried with the square lattice embossing folder.

Gently Falling Cards

I love the colors of fall! They make me feel warm and happy! I used the fun color combination of Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz, More Mustard, and Soft Suede on these cards with the new Gently Falling stamp set. I added some of the Spice Cake Designer buttons and fabric with the fun flowers die. I embossed the "Give Thanks" in whisper white from the Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set.

Spooky Bingo Bits Peekaboo Frames Card

The Spooky Bingo Bits work perfectly with then new Peekaboo Frames Sizzix die! With some Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper and a black embossed "Happy Halloween" from Hand Penned Holidays, this card is ready to delight its recipient!

Here is a peek at the scary messages inside!

Petal Cone Bat

Yet another use for the Petal Cone die - a bat that holds treats! I used the Spiderweb Embossing folder on the wings and the glitter brads for the eyes. The petite pennant punch came in handy for the teeth! The circle punch helped me shape the bottoms of the wings. The original idea came from Shelli, the founder of Stampin' Up!

Halloween Sour Cream Treat Container

We made this Halloween sour cream treat container at my stamp club meeting last month. They are quick and easy to make. Just start with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" sheet of card stock and stamp or wheel a design on the card stock. Use a bone folder to curl the card stock and adhere the edge to make a cylinder. Seal the bottom with sticky strip and use the paper crimper to crimp the ends. I used the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper and Wicked Cool to embellish the container.

Halloween Top Note Treat Coffin Box with Video Tutorial!

Fall is in the air and Halloween is around the corner! I love making Halloween treat boxes! This one is a coffin box! I used the Dark and Dreary stamp set and the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper to create the box! I started with a piece of 8" x 5-1/2" sheet of card stock and scored at 1" from each side and then at 3-1/2" and 4-1/2" on the 8" side as well.

Here is a peek inside! I used the It's a Wrap Holiday from the Holiday Mini Catalog on Avery labels and wrapped them around the chocolate treats.

Here is a Video Tutorial to show you exactly how I put it together!
