Christmas Blessings 3x3 Mini Card Set

I love little box card sets!!  I made this one from another tutorial at Craft Project Central.  I used the Christmas Blessings stamp set and watercolor crayons with an Aqua Painter to color in all the lovely images.  I wrapped a slice of the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper around the box and added a label cut in two and stamped the poinsettias on a cut out from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  Only four days 'till Christmas!

No Peeking Tags with Window Box

Can you see the reindeer peeking through the window on this cute Christmas tag window box?  Four cute tags made with the No Peeking stamp set are waiting to be tied to cute gifts.

I like making each tag unique and special.  I love using punches and Big Shot dies to make unique tags quickly and easily!

To make the box, I started with a 4" x 5" piece of Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper scored at 1/2" from each edge.  Then used a 3-15/16 x 4-15/16 piece of Gumball Green also scored at 1/2" from each edge for the bottom of the box.

To create the window I placed the edge at 1-1/4" on each side and cut 1-1/4" from each side.  Then I placed a window sheet behind the cut out.  I wrapped some Gumball Green ribbon around the box and through the Jolly Christmas tag.

Supplies:
No Peeking stamp set
Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper
Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green Pool Party, Soft Suede card stock
Basic Black, Gumball Green, Pool Party, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede
Window Frame, Labels Framelits
Delicate Doilies Sizzix die
Scallop Circle and Circle Punches

Christmas Fancy Favor Box

I made these Christmas Fancy Favor boxes for my stamp club hostesses this month.  I used the Fancy Favor die and the Label Framelits and added a tag using the Delicate Doilies Sizzlit, Labels Framelit and Scallop Circle Punch (embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder).  I felt like I need a really wide ribbon so I used some retired Real Red ribbon to tie up the bag of mints inside.  I made two extras that I think I will give to some church ladies that I visit!

Gingerbread Man Pocket Card/Gift Card Holder

Here is a little pocket card that can be used as a gift card holder as well.  Made simply from the Fancy Favor, this makes a great little pocket card or gift card holder.  I cut out just the front, sides and bottom pieces from the Fancy Favor Box and then cut away the bottoms of the sides.  I embossed it with the Chevron embossing folder and then folded it over into a pocket.  I added a little gingerbread man from the Scentsational Season stamp set layered with a Designer label punched out from Cherry Cobbler card stock and wrapped some paper from the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper around it.

Supplies:
Scentsational Season stamp set
Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock
Holiday Collection Framelits
Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper
Fancy Favor Box die
Chevron embossing folder
Designer Label Punch
Wild Wasabi grosgrain ribbon

Season's Greetings Card

I don't really consider the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder very Christmas like, but I added some Christmas Colors and a Christmas Greeting with a lovely Flourish Designer Frame and made a very lovely Christmas card!  I used some ribbon with the Flourish Designer Frame but you can also use the tiny brads to hold it in place.

More Christmas projects to come!

Evergreen Christmas Card

The Evergreen stamp set is such a pretty stamp set.  I love layered stamping so I wanted to see I could emboss the last layer (which are the words to Silent Night) and be able to read what the stamp says.  And to my delight, the embossing worked perfectly and I can read every word of Silent Night!  The magic of heat embossing is what first enticed me to start stamping and I still enjoy watching the embossing powder heat up and magically change into a fluid image!

Supplies:
Evergreen stamp set
Gumball Green Core'dinations Card Stock
Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi and Versamark
Gold Embossing Powder
Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder

Snowflake Soiree Triple Tier Card

I've been seeing lots and lots of lovely triple tier cards so I decided to learn how to make one and it was much similar than I thought it would be!  Even though it is simple to make, the card really has a Wow! effect!

I started with three pieces of Whisper White Cardstock sized at 4" x 5-1/4", the next is 3" x 4-1/4", and the last is 2" x 3-1/4".  So each piece is 1" smaller on each side.  I used temporary adhesive to layer them together and then stamped the snowflakes in a random pattern starting with the largest stamp in the lightest color.  Next I took each piece off and layered it with Pacific Point to have a 1/8" edge on each side. (4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card base, 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" middle piece, and 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" small piece).  I put them all together and viola! a pretty triple tier also called triple layered card!

Supplies:
Snowflake Soiree stamp set
Pacific Point, Whisper White card stock
Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pacific Point ink

Joyous Celebrations Ornament Card

These cards are straight copies from a cards I saw in Stampin' Up's Magazine, Stampin' Success.  I love all the inspirational cards and projects I see in each magazine!  These two really caught my eye with the fun color combination and lovely layouts.  One tip on the above card is the stamp off the Gumball Green tree to get a lighter shade and allow the sentiment to stand out.

Now I'm off to design my Christmas card with My Digital Studio!

Supplies:
Joyouse Celebrations stamp set
Gumball Green Core'dinations Card Stock
Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple, Pool Party card stock
Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple ink
Music Notes standard wheel
Holiday Frame and Framed Tulips Embossing Folder

Shimmery Snowflake Card

Although I love living in the sunny bay area of CA, I occasionally miss the beautiful snowfalls of my childhood in Maryland.  So every year our family plans a few trips to the snow in the Lake Tahoe area. The kids are getting excited for this season's trip.  Hopefully there will be a lot of snow this year since there was hardly any last year.  So I've been thinking of snow.

I saw a very pretty card in Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Success Magazine that I used as the basis of creating this card.  I used the Snow Flurry die and the Northern Flurry embossing folder with the Shimmery White and Brushed Silver Paper to create the snowflakes.  I stamped "Believe" from the Snowflake Soiree Stamp set with silver ink.

Hope you are having a great start to your December and that you get to have some fun in the snow too!
